Upon graduating college in 2017, I landed a job with a wildlife film production company I had admired for a while, Fin and Fur Films. What started as a part time social media gig quickly evolved to a full time production job and a head-first dive into the wildlife and environmental filmmaking world. I learned how to apply my journalism background to documentary film production, and have utilized photography, graphic design, and writing skills through various film and book projects over the years. I’ve been fortunate to travel all across Texas and the western U.S. with my wonderful teammates to document diverse wildlife and landscapes, share conservation stories, and advocate for the necessity of protection and action to conserve our wildlife and wild places.

Deep In The Heart

Deep in the Heart is a visually stunning celebration of Texas’ diverse landscapes and remarkable wildlife found nowhere else. Narrated by Matthew McConaughey, the film aims to conserve our remaining wild places, to show the connectivity of water and wildlife, and to recognize Texas’ conservation importance on a continental scale.

Role: Producer

The film’s accompanying book - written by Ben Masters, Katy Baldock, and Jay Kleberg, and designed by Katy Baldock - takes a deeper dive into the wildlife and conservation stories showcased in the movie and features the best photos from the making of the film.

Role: Layout Designer; Co-Author

American Ocelot

American Ocelot tells the story of one of the most endangered and beautiful wild cats in the country. With fewer than 120 remaining in the United States, ocelots are genetically isolated and only exist in Texas. With many factors acting against them, there is still hope for their survival… if opposing parties can come to an agreement on their management methods.

Role: Producer

The River And The Wall

The River and the Wall follows five friends on an immersive adventure through the Texas borderlands as they travel 1200 miles from El Paso to the Gulf of Mexico on horses, mountain bikes, and canoes. They set out to document the landscapes and explore potential impacts of a border wall on the natural environment, but as the wilderness gives way to the more populated and heavily-trafficked Lower Rio Grande Valley, they come face-to-face with the human side of the immigration debate.

Role: Associate Producer

The film’s accompanying book is written by film crew members and characters, and provides a more comprehensive look into Texas’ borderland issues, from wildlife migrations to human immigration.
